What is the FAB?
The Facilitated Activity Base is a highly adaptive classroom, which is used to meet the needs of many children across the school from Nursery to Year 6 children. This little hub sits nestled inside the school ground connected to the main school and in addition to the main classroom there are three smaller group spaces, including a beautiful sensory space.
This nurturing environment allows children to develop as competent and independent learners in a low distraction environment. Visuals, simple language and emotional regulation support are embedded to support children not only within the FAB but as they return to their classrooms. Developing their confidence to join in and learn with their peers.
