Armitage C of E Primary School encourages pupils to travel to school sustainably. Walking and cycling to school are the best ways to look after the environment, get some exercise and reduce congestion around the school gates. Please travel safely and walk, cycle or use public transport if you can.

Cycle Information
Arimtage C of E Primary School has convenient parking for student and visitor cyclists.
Cycling to school:
Alan Turing Way/Pottery Lane has an on road cycling route, as does Hyde Road if you are travelling from the City Centre. Please take care if cycling near a road. The roads immediately surrounding Armitage C of E Primary School are quiet and 20mph zones make the area safer to cycle.

Travelling by Car
Armitage C of E Primary School is conveniently located just off Hyde Road and Pottery Lane in West Gorton. To access Hyde Road from the M60 simply exit the M60 at exit 24 and follow the A57 until it becomes Hyde Road. Take a right turn at Bennett Street and then a right turn again onto Rostron Avenue.
